About The Position

The role of the Quality Control Inspector is to perform inspections of parts in process and prior to shipment for conformance to customer drawings and internal requirements. This position operates in a professional manufacturing environment in a light industrial type setting. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• IPC J-STD-001 for controlled soldering experience
• IPC/WHMA-1-620 for knowledge of controlled cable crimping and wire harness work
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Test parts using calibrated assets such as multimeters and HIPOT testers
• Address nonconforming material with Quality Control Supervisor
• Work with other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled
• Perform Visual Inspection per approved documentation
• Utilize safe electrical practices to perform role
• Use proper controls during tests (Ex. Gloves)
• Evaluate and interpret Engineering drawings
• Escalate quality concerns as appropriate
