About The Position

Our Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, processes, and finished products to identify defects, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement efforts, overseeing daily quality assurance activities for inbound materials, finished goods, and pick-and-pack processes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of standard quality inspection concepts, defect classification, documentation practices, and best‑in‑class operational quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications, packaging requirements, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable.
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • 1-3 years of related job experience.
  • Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee inspections of received goods, finished goods, and outbound pick‑and‑pack orders to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.
  • Manage and respond to ad hoc quality inspection requests from operations, customer service, and leadership.
  • Review, validate, and consolidate QC team findings into daily quality reports; communicate issues and trends to operations leadership.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of defects, non‑conformance reports, rework requirements, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and enforce quality standards, SOP's, and safety guidelines across all inspection activities.
  • Partner with Operations, Inventory Control, and Customer Service teams to resolve quality‑related issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and contributing to root‑cause analysis.
