Quality Control Inspector
About The Position
At Capsum, a key innovative contract manufacturer in the cosmetics industry, Passion & Innovation are expressed in everything we do: in our patented technologies, custom-built machines, original formulas, and creative concepts. Our enthusiastic and dedicated teams design and sustainably manufacture innovative and effective beauty products for brands. As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector in a full-time role. The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for quality control testing of packaging materials and finished products to ensure their conformity to defined specifications and standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher preferred with approximately 2-3 years of relevant quality control experience, in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Sampling and testing of incoming packaging materials and finished goods in accordance with written procedures
- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production team.
- Perform daily standardizations and equipment performance checks
- Maintain records and data associated with testing.
- Perform calibrations and calibration verifications.
- Utilize instrumentation and techniques such as Torque meter, vacuum testing, dimensional analysis.
- Able to read drawings.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
