About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, documenting results, identifying quality concerns, and working closely with production and operations teams to maintain the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing quality control experience, strong inspection skills, and the confidence to take ownership of product quality throughout the production process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of product inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and data entry experience, is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Operations, and Production.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership for product quality.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform inspections throughout a 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials as needed.
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and any scheduled workdays as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using mechanical measuring instruments such as calipers, dial indicators, pi tapes, and similar inspection tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of API standards and seamless pipe manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using various measuring instruments and inspection tools.
  • Document inspection results and prepare detailed quality reports.
  • Identify non-conforming materials or products and communicate issues promptly to production and management teams.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Verify compliance with company procedures, customer specifications, and applicable industry standards.
  • Monitor production activities and exercise authority to stop production when quality standards are compromised.
  • Maintain organized inspection records and ensure accurate data entry into quality systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and operational excellence.
