Quality Control Inspector
About The Position
Schneider Electric is seeking an IMPACT Maker to join their team as a Quality Control Inspector. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper function and safety of all electrical equipment produced. The inspector will be responsible for calibrating and maintaining test equipment, working with wiring diagrams, troubleshooting electrical issues, and programming drives according to customer specifications. Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Two-Year Associate Degree in IET, Mechatronics, GET, or related field OR two years working with electrical circuits and two years experience reading and deciphering wiring diagrams.
- Must be familiar with wiring diagrams.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to pass a technical assessment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all electrical equipment produced to ensure its proper function.
- Ensure that the equipment is electrically and mechanically safe.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Program drives and set up equipment per customer requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
