The Quality Control Inspector will use a variety of QC Inspection tools while performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of Steelhaus products. The Quality Control Inspector will coordinate with other departments including assembly, manufacturing and shipping/receiving.

Requirements

Able to read and understand part drawings and a general knowledge of GD&T.
2+ Years in a similar role.
Experience using a variety of precision measuring tools.
Understanding of the imperial system.
Basic computer skills (MS Office).

Nice To Haves

Experience with CMM is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Prepping equipment prior to inspection.
Create documentation to aid the inspection process.
Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Perform first article inspections on all product runs.
Identify and segregate discrepant part and notify Manager.
Performing routine housekeeping around the Shop.
Manual & mechanical lifting & moving equipment, materials, and supplies.
Picking, sorting, or taking inventory of shop.
Conducting pre-use inspections of mobile equipment.
Operating pallet jack.
Use of hand, power & pneumatic tools.
Interaction with employees, photocopying, printing, etc.
