About The Position

This role involves performing basic and routine assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies according to military, aerospace, and other assembly standards, using visual aids and verbal/written instructions, with supervision. The position requires attention to detail, including inspection and testing.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform detail-oriented tasks.
• Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists.
• Basic math and measurements.
• Fluent English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience interpreting design drawings
• Experience with wire and cable harnesses
• Familiarity with standard specifications such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4
• Certification to the standards IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4 is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies.
• Perform inspection and testing.
• Advanced Soldering
• Crimping techniques
• Connector assembly
• Understanding of Travels and Drawings
• Use of cable assembling hand and power tools such as heat guns, hand crimpers, screw drivers etc.
• Use of rulers and tape measure.
