About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weld Inspector with a strong background in quality assurance to join our team as a Weld Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of welding processes and techniques, along with a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of welding quality are maintained.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in welding is preferred.
• Minimum of [X years] experience in MIG welding, with a proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards.
• Welding certifications and qualifications in MIG welding processes are required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Ability to identify and resolve welding issues efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding tasks with precision, adhering to established welding procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and document welding defects or irregularities and collaborate with the production team to address and rectify issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of welding parameters, inspection results, and quality control measures.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and understanding of welding requirements for various projects.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance welding efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize overall quality.
