About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector, Steel's key responsibilities involve inspecting Steel/Hull systems and installations to ensure they meet all relevant specifications, standards, and codes. Collaborate closely with internal and external stake holders to secure the necessary approvals for project acceptance. Responsible for completing all documentation required for turnover to Canada. Additionally, they support the production team in achieving a “first time right” approach by overseeing steel/welding quality throughout the process. A key part of the roll is maintaining ISO standards throughout continuous monitoring and assessment of electrical products and procedures. Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective Action Requests (CARs) are raised as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in inspecting Steel/Hull systems and installations.
• Knowledge of relevant specifications, standards, and codes.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in completing documentation.
• Understanding of steel/welding quality processes.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing electrical products and procedures.
• Ability to raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective Action Requests (CARs).
