About The Position

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to join the OQC team. This role involves conducting thorough inspections of electronic and mechanical parts, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to proper procedures during manufacturing and testing. The inspector will also investigate quality issues and collaborate with engineering and suppliers on improvements. The position is on-site daily, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in West LA.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of electronic part inspection experience.
Proficient experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes).
Demonstrated proficiency in reading basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs.
Read and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
Utilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and various communication systems effectively.
Identify and escalate potential issues.
Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation.
Must have excellent organizational skills, be highly attentive to details, and have the capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously.
Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components.
Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary.
Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies.
Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Maintain Quality documentation.
Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.
Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
