About The Position

Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc., is seeking a Quality Control Inspector-I to join the OQC team. This role is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of incoming electronic and mechanical parts, as well as during the manufacturing and testing process. The inspector will maintain accurate documentation, ensure proper procedures are followed, and investigate quality issues. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in West Los Angeles.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of electronic part inspection experience.
Experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes).
Ability to read basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs.
Read and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
Utilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and various communication systems effectively.
Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation.
Must have excellent organizational skills, be highly attentive to details, and have the capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously.
Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components.
Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary.
Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies.
Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Maintain Quality documentation.
Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.
Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
