The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for ensuring that incoming parts, in-process production, and final products meet all specified quality standards. This role involves visually inspecting materials, parts, and products at various stages of the production process, recording observations, and recommending process improvements. The inspector will also inspect for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds, and decide whether to accept, reject, or request rework for defective units. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will utilize your skills and expertise to ensure that all incoming parts, in-process production, and finished products meet established quality standards. Your responsibilities will include visually inspecting materials, components, and products at various stages of the production process to identify structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds. Based on your assessments, you will determine whether to accept, reject, or request rework of defective or nonconforming units or systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, revising, and maintaining quality standards and inspection procedures for receiving, in-process, and final product inspections.
