Quality Control Inspector I
About The Position
Repligen’s Clifton Park facility is looking for a Quality Control Inspector I to join their 2nd shift team. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet the highest standards. The 2nd shift operates from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and receives a $1.00/hour shift differential. The company's mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide, focusing on cost and process efficiencies by delivering innovative technologies and solutions that help set new standards in bioproprocessing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Proficiency in basic math, measurements, and testing equipment
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in science or relevant experience preferred
- Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment
- Experience in a cleanroom environment is highly desirable
- Medical device or medical manufacturing experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect products against acceptance criteria to maintain high-quality standards
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders
- Accurately document inspection results using Microsoft Office and other software
- Use precision measurement tools like calipers and pin gauges
- Operate in an ISO 7 cleanroom while following strict gowning procedures
- Support additional quality-related functions as needed
