About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (FSAT) to provide support for a position located at Tyndall AFB, FL. This role involves developing and implementing quality control, ground safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications. The inspector will perform audits on various aspects of operations, including work centers, maintenance actions, documentation, and equipment. They will also be responsible for generating reports, reviewing and developing processes for trend analysis, and ensuring technical data is up-to-date. Additionally, the role may involve operating and maintaining the weight and balance program for aircraft, assisting personnel in problem resolution and process development, and performing maintenance actions for currency. The position is assigned by a Supervisor and may include other related tasks.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ QA, COR or QAE experience required
  • 10 years’ F-16 maintenance experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook required
  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and d maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control, ground safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications
  • Performs audits on work centers, maintenance actions, documentation, IMDS, GO81, equipment, facilities and any items identified in the contract that requires quality control.
  • May be required to generate reports to meet contractual and company requirements
  • Reviews, audits and develops processes to identify trends
  • Provides trend analysis with supporting graphs and documentation to support trend analysis
  • Obtain tech data from appropriate sources and ensure appropriate areas have up to date technical publications
  • Initiates and reviews all quality reports that affect the contract i.e., PQDRs, TCTOs, mishap reports, etc.
  • Responsibilities may include operating and maintaining weight and balance program for the full-scale aircraft
  • Assist contract personnel and approved government personnel in resolving problems, developing new tech data or developing processes.
  • May perform maintenance actions as needed to maintain currency for training and inspection completion
  • Performs other duties, related tasks within their classification as assigned by a Supervisor
