About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector Apprentice will learn to perform the duties of their selected program through on-the-job training (6,000 or 8,000 hours – depending on trade) and formal technical education. This role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections, reviewing CMM data, and approving or holding castings based on quality standards. The apprentice will also complete required paperwork accurately, conduct roaming floor inspections, and support supervisors and engineers in problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Must have earned a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must not be on an active final written warning or on a PIP
  • Must be a full-time Ryobi employee working in the department that offers the apprenticeship program, or have an approved transfer into that department pending
  • Must complete an Apprenticeship Program application
  • External candidates must also apply for an open position in the applicable department through Ryobi - Career Portal
  • Consideration for enrollment in the apprenticeship program will take place following completion of the introductory period
  • Must complete required on-the-job training hours (6,000 or 8,000 hours – depending on trade)
  • Must successfully complete the required curriculum outlined in the Apprenticeship Standards
  • Must abide by all stipulations indicated in the Apprenticeship Standards once accepted into the program
