In a team-oriented environment, perform all tasks in Initial Phase Manufacturing, Composites, Final Phase in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations are built to type design data.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of quality inspection experience or 2 years of GAC manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience working with Aircraft Completions, Aircraft Interiors, Aircraft Wood Shop, and/or aircraft composite structures required.
  • Working knowledge of shop mathematics and CATIA or blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Competence using basic shop tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be willing and able to work any scheduled shifts, if needed.
  • Other Formal Inspection Training Program 90 Days required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of manufacturing or equivalent aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preliminary, progressive, and final inspections of aircraft parts, sub‑assemblies, major assemblies, and installations.
  • Inspect work using engineering drawings, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, and QA procedures.
  • Conduct conformity and first article inspections in accordance with FAA‑approved procedures.
  • Verify functional operation, inspect for FOD, and ensure inspection documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Witness, verify, and document required manufacturing process steps.
  • Ensure the proper use, care, and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Promote and participate in safety programs, hazard reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical inspection support to manufacturing personnel.
  • Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
