About The Position

Position Responsibility Summary: Coordination of Nondestructive Examinations (NDE), Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT), Nonconformance Reporting, and distributes Quality documents at the direction of Project Quality Manager or Field Quality Control Manger, and interface with the Owners Team regarding technical issues. Evaluates the qualifications of NDE and PWHT technicians with regard to the activities assigned. Reviews NDE and PWHT reports for conformance and populates the applicable weld management program.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of related experiences in the Oil and Gas industry
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam Revu
• Must be able to read and interpret weld procedures, engineering drawings, project specifications
• Must have a working knowledge of industry related codes and standards
• Must be able to write clearly, accurately, and concisely
• Organizational capabilities to plan and schedule inspections and tests
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and critical, logical thinking and analysis skills
• Must be able to effectively interact with clients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with co-workers and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports
• Schedule, review, and log Nondestructive Examinations (NDE), and Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT)
• Evaluates the qualifications of NDE and PWHT technicians with regard to the activities assigned.
• Provide information regarding processes and specifications to craftsmen, supervisors and other appropriate members
