About The Position

The Quality Control coaching position is one that requires hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of related experience working with a high school, collegiate, or professional football team
  • Ability to prioritize work and multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision‑making
  • Relevant subject matter knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of football analytics, skills, and strategies
  • Knowledge of football video‑editing software programs
  • Knowledge of NCAA legislation, Conference USA bylaws, and compliance guidelines related to a football program
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated professional and effective public relations skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team or individual setting
  • Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment

Responsibilities

  • Assists football coaches in identifying tendencies in play calling
  • Identifies trends to better predict success in game situations
  • Assists football coaches in scouting opponents, identifying tendencies and weaknesses to improve the team’s chances of winning
  • Calculates advanced football metrics to demonstrate team efficiency in various situations
  • Provides insight to the coaching staff on areas of strength and weakness to better tailor practices and workouts toward areas of greatest need
  • Creates and maintains the team depth chart
  • Analyzes playing time for all players during games and charts effectiveness on an ongoing basis
  • Assists football coaches with other team‑related duties as permissible by NCAA legislation, including but not limited to developing practice and workout plans, leading video sessions, attending staff meetings, and adhering to all NCAA and Conference USA bylaws
  • Completes other duties as assigned
