Requirements

  • Operate a computer proficiently (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers
  • Ability to use measuring devices (tapes, micrometer, inside outside calipers, etc)
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills by performing multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritizing work assignments
  • Good Organizational and Leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
  • Ability to demonstrate close attention to detail
  • Must be able to perform mathematical calculations
  • Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather
  • Ability to position and climb ladders to access elevated stock locations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Final order inspection of all outgoing product
  • Frequent work station audits of product in process
  • Audit Product Identification and traceability as well as shipping photos
  • Maintain all quality inspections & training documents including monthly audits of Work Instructions
  • Assist with QMS documentation updates as needed
  • Perform all quality related functions for the location such as Tests, Inspections (Internal & External), Reports, Set-ups, Filing, etc.
  • Manage Gage Calibration as needed
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, work orders and drawings
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers
  • Ability to use and understand basic linear measurements (i.e. feet inches, decimals, and metric system)
