About The Position

Provides high-level administrative support to the football coaching staff as assigned in support of the defensive initiatives of the football program at Mississippi State University.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Ability to function independently solving problems and making decisions.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule work for efficient operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience at the college level in football operations.

Responsibilities

• Scout football team’s in-season games.
• Breakdowns game film and provides full statistical analysis of defense and kicking game.
• Scout football team’s practices in fall, spring, and in-season.
• Provides statistical analysis of defense.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach, Defensive Coordinator and/ or Special Teams Coordinator.
