Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 + years full time progressively responsible work in Lab preferred
  • LIMS experience preferred
  • Has basic knowledge of cGMP and laboratory practices
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to identify problems and work toward solutions creatively and without active supervision
  • Knowledge of record keeping requirements and organization
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office, basic computer programs, and technical writing
  • Must be able to work in close proximity to products with strong aromas
  • Ability to communicate in a timely manner by reading, writing, and speaking in English. Including in person real-time communication
  • Ability to traverse varying distances and travel between different floors of the building
  • Must be able to elevate and/or move up to 40 pounds with assistance
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to manipulate small objects such as bottle lids, small hand tools, etc.
  • Must maintain positive relationships in the workplace by treating others with respect, dignity, and integrity
  • Must work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive samples in Labware LIMS for testing in the Quality Control Laboratory
  • Track and file testing data in both Labware LIMS and raw data files
  • Coordinate with Out of House laboratories for testing
  • CoA creation in Labware LIMS
  • CoA release to Quality Assurance
  • Tracking of Out of Specification samples
  • Follow recommendations of deviations pertaining to Quality Control laboratory
  • Administer changes in Labware LIMS, including specification entry and updates
  • Receive, review, and enter projects from outside departments
  • Routinely archive data files and laboratory samples
  • Follow SOPs precisely following GMP compliant practices for data handling
  • Create and track purchase requisitions for orders within the lab
  • Preparation and update of SOPs associated with daily responsibilities
  • Comply with all laboratory safety procedures
  • Utilize multiple tracking programs to maintain efficiency of lab testing
  • Be able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to achieve daily workload
  • Supports all continuous improvement activities
  • May be asked to perform non-routine work on occasion to assist the Quality Control personnel
  • Must be available to attend ad-hoc meetings, calls, or questions during business hours
