Gyros Protein Technologies provides automated systems for protein analysis and peptide synthesis solutions that accelerate the discovery, development, and manufacture of biotherapeutic drugs. Job Summary The Quality Control Inspector II is responsible for performing advanced inspections and ensuring that products meet company and regulatory quality standards. This role involves overseeing inspection processes, analyzing quality data, and implementing corrective actions to address any quality issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection roles.
  • Proficiency with quality control tools and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced measurement tools and techniques to evaluate product quality, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, and specialized testing equipment.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inspection data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions for enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, document non-conformances, and track corrective actions. Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements and corrective action plans based on inspection findings.
  • Training: Provide guidance and training to junior quality control inspectors and ensure adherence to best practices and company quality standards.
  • Compliance Ensure that all inspection processes and activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
