About The Position

The Quality Control Clerk verifies order information and ensures finished goods are correct and ready to ship. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, success is measured by maintaining or surpassing the everyday standards of the ID Logistics client. The role includes checking finished goods, production materials and activities, managing damages, and conducting quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments and transfers. The position is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and pays $19.00. It is classified as non-exempt.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience using RF technology.
Data-entry skills.
Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Self-motivated, with a positive approach to assigned tasks and high ethical standards.
Team player who follows written and verbal instructions.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and others to achieve operational excellence.
Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Check finished goods to ensure all pallet information is correct before putaway.
Verify orders for correct SKU, quantity, packaging, and quality.
Review production Bills of Materials against stock utilized.
Compare production job instructions with activities performed by staff; update, modify, or suggest changes as necessary.
Manage damages.
Perform quality control on inbound and outbound shipments and transfers.
Quality-check pallets and box orders.
Transpose information between paper records and system spreadsheets, or vice versa.
Perform other job functions or cross-training as applicable.
