About The Position

The Quality Control Auditor performs inspection and testing activities to ensure the quality of materials and products used or produced by Quaker Windows and Doors. This entry-level position inspects materials, monitors build processes, and documents quality results. Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the auditor coordinates quality control objectives with production operations to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. The role examines completed and in-process products for quality and conformance to established specifications and standards. The position is assigned to the Commercial division and has no direct management or supervisory responsibilities. It requires regular on-site interaction with staff and production employees, prompt and regular attendance at the assigned work location, and minimal travel between Quaker campuses to provide backup coverage. Employees must follow safety and security policies, use required personal protective equipment, report potentially unsafe conditions, and handle equipment and materials properly. Work may involve exposure to climatic variations, fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and moving mechanical parts; hearing protection may be required depending on noise levels.
