The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for auditing and inspecting foam products to verify conformance with established company specifications and customer quality requirements.

Requirements

Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn and utilize various software applications.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and support problem-solving efforts.
High School Diploma and/ or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one (1) year of quality control experience and/or related training preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience working with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide general support to the Quality Assurance (QA) department.
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Inspect foam materials and determine conformance to established specifications and quality standards using appropriate measuring tools.
Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials, including the collection of supporting data and photographs.
Investigate and verify internal and external quality complaints.
Conduct audits of work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Support ongoing training initiatives that promote quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Serve as a role model for quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Assist in developing visual work aids to improve product identification, packaging accuracy, and quality consistency.
Follow all 5S, safety, and company policies and procedures.
Meet productivity expectations by completing work accurately and efficiently.
Cut and prepare foam samples for laboratory testing and evaluation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
