The Quality Assurance Inspector performs assessment, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the production line. Their duties and responsibilities include inspecting finished trailers, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures, complying with customer requirements, reviewing blueprints and specifications, recording inspection results, advising the production team on quality control measures, proposing improvements to the production process, and maintaining measurement equipment accuracy. The role also involves assisting in overall Quality activities, performing visual and dimensional inspections, rejecting defective parts, working with engineering and management to resolve problems, communicating issues, performing product & process audits, and helping define and sustain 5S standards.
