About The Position

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Quality Control Associates for a warehouse located in Marietta! This is a Temp to Hire position with a pay rate of $20.75/hour for the 2nd Shift. The role involves maintaining the flow of on-time sample testing, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed, and managing laboratory equipment calibration. The associate will also handle the raw material Certificate of Analysis program, retain samples, and act as production troubleshooting support, including GC analysis. Responsibilities extend to identifying and troubleshooting equipment and technical problems, preparing validation protocols and reports, and preparing Certificates of Analysis for customers. This position also involves participation in the Ethical Sourcing cross-functional team, monitoring company performance related to environment, health, and safety.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the chemical composition structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
Utilization of scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented.
Able to work well as part of a team while being able to show initiative to solve problems and look for solutions.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

Maintains the flow of on time sample testing to meet production needs.
Ensures existing standard operation procedures are followed.
Ensures laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained according to standard operating procedures.
Maintains raw material Certificate of Analysis program.
Maintains retain samples and associated data including records relating to the receipt and testing of raw materials.
Acts as production troubleshooting and support.
Initiation to GC analysis.
Identifies and troubleshoots equipment problems, technical problems, and follows through to determine solutions.
Prepares validation protocols, executes experiments, and prepares validation reports.
Prepares Certificates of analysis for customers as needed.
Participates as a member of the Ethical Sourcing cross-functional team, and as such, monitors company performance related to the environment, health and safety.
