About The Position

This position works with the Quality Control Manager for pre- and post-closing quality control, investor post purchase requests, mortgage insurance company and investor audit responses. The role involves reviewing and clearing quality control exceptions, updating tracking reports, responding to investor requests, and assisting with target testing. The associate is expected to conduct business in compliance with regulations, set personal growth goals, and take a proactive approach to learning.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete analytical tasks
• Attention to detail and have problem solving aptitude
• Ability to meet or exceed expectations
• Goal Oriented Team player
• General knowledge of the mortgage industry with specific knowledge of quality control
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• 3-5 years’ related experience

Responsibilities

• Review and clear pre- and post-closing quality control exceptions for Total Mortgage
• Update and monitor tracking and trending reports from loan file reviews
• Review and clear post-purchase audit requests from investors, mortgage insurance companies and agencies
• Assist with target testing and monitoring based on quality control findings
• Conduct business in compliance with all state and federal regulations
