About The Position

Join the J830 Quality North team at Lockheed Martin, where we play a crucial role in supporting the Final Production team. As a Quality Control Analyst, you will ensure that our products meet government compliance standards and are free from Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and defects. This position is vital to our mission, as you will be one of the last lines of defense before our products are delivered to customers.

Requirements

  • Experience analyzing data
  • Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents
  • Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Background experience utilizing Microsoft office tools
  • Experience with root cause and corrective action
  • Experience with project management

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans, procedures, and tools to effectively identify product defects.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to the quality control workforce, enhancing their skills in quality control methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Analyze and interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights and foster continuous improvement in our quality processes.
  • Work closely with Quality Engineering to investigate the root causes of defects and develop robust corrective actions.
  • Conduct surveillance audits to ensure compliance with the F-35 Quality Management Plan and other applicable standards.
  • Develop and coordinate effective defect containment actions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain metrics related to product defects, variations in manufacturing processes, adherence to Lockheed Martin Aero and F-35 Quality Management Plans, compliance with engineering requirements and work instructions, and overall health of the Quality Management System (Q&MS).
