About The Position

As a QC Analyst II in our Quality department in Oceanside, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our manufacturing environment and commercial products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using state-of-the-art techniques to implement innovative testing technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact patient lives by maintaining the highest standards of good manufacturing and laboratory practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline with 1 year of relevant experience (or an AA with 4 years, or HS diploma with 6 years of related experience).
  • Proficient in cGMP practices across all laboratory assignments and environments.
  • Able to pass the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment (STA) for warehouse access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing state-of-the-art laboratory techniques and driving new technology implementations.
  • Strong communication skills and experience participating in routine cross-departmental projects and investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of the manufacturing environment and in-process commercial products according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform microbiological and chemical assays, basic troubleshooting, and equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Represent QC and serve as a primary point of contact for manufacturing and other operational departments.
  • Collect, process, and enter data into electronic systems to generate accurate analytical reports.
  • Initiate, compile, and perform laboratory investigations, including document reviews, interviews, and tracking.
  • Assist with data trending, data review, lab maintenance, and the onboarding and training of new personnel.
  • Develop, optimize, revise, and update standard operating procedures and testing methods.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and environmental safety guidelines to foster a positive safety culture.
