About The Position
The QC Analyst 1 for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics serves as a QC final product testing and release and supporting continuous improvement projects in MicroScan QC Operations. At Microbiology, our vision is to ensure that every patient has access to the right antibiotic at the right time. You will be a part of the Quality Control testing team, reporting to the Director, QC Testing, located in West Sacramento, CA and will be on-site full-time. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Ensure timely testing and release of final products for medical device manufacturing, utilizing analytical chemistry and microbiological QC methods. Create, modify, and maintain SOPs, SOIs, and batch records for electronic and paper documentation in an ISO 13485 regulated environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize DBS tools for daily management, process improvements, and problem-solving. Advocate for Danaher D&I values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science field with 2+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or QC testing
- Must have experience working in a laboratory environment utilizing analytical chemistry skills such as spectrophotometry, HPLC etc., and/or basic microbiology laboratory skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and ability to efficiently utilize various PC-based applications such as Oracle ERP system and electronic document management systems.
Nice To Haves
- Background in microbiology with laboratory experience, especially in a regulated GDP/GMP/ISO 13485 environment.
