About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through various checks and procedures. The position involves maintaining a safe work environment, performing detailed inspections, and communicating effectively. The job requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds continuously, bending, reaching, and twisting. Attention to detail and multitasking abilities are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have been qualified back-up QC Inspector or a qualified Packer/Selector if no back-ups are available.
  • Must have good attendance.
  • Must have shown dependability in current position.
  • Must have good reading and writing skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
  • Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.
  • Cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Effectively use verbal and written communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical Aptitude a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing First Piece Reports for each line running.
  • Performing ink color checks.
  • Conducting all special testing required by procedures.
  • Performing overflows as required.
  • Performing hourly quality checks.
  • Conducting line audits while collecting hourly samples and in any free time.
  • Maintaining spec sheets in their proper place, filing away old ones and putting new ones in their appropriate place.
  • Auditing blank bottle finished goods lines in Production.
  • Performing daily plant walk-throughs to identify issues (visual).
  • Performing last shot measurement and visual analysis.
  • Ensuring that information going out to the production floor is correct (Pick lists and stickers).
  • Testing and measuring for new projects.
  • Focusing on customer needs.
  • Training on AVBIS and New Equipment Usage.
  • Evaluating and taking appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines.
  • Inspecting work areas and looking for unsafe acts/conditions.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Performing sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties as necessary.
  • Performing all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
