About The Position

Viking Electric is seeking a Quality Compliance Technician to help ensure our products consistently meet customer, contractual, and regulatory quality standards. In this hands-on role, you’ll inspect materials and products, document quality results, collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our network. If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable in warehouse/distribution environments, and experienced in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering services, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control
  • Experience within electrical manufacturing or engineering services preferred
  • Working knowledge of PPAP and First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Strong documentation, recordkeeping, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% if needed
  • Flexibility for occasional last‑minute travel or additional hours
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in‑process items, and finished products
  • Record inspection results to ensure traceability and compliance
  • Support Sales and Supply Chain with guidance on quality and compliance issues
  • Monitor product quality across the supply chain and identify root causes of defects
  • Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in quality-related projects and audits as needed
  • Follow all Viking Electric safety, ethics, and compliance policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
