About The Position

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. All MGF ISO related activities are being migrated from MCL to Operational Excellence - Standardization. The position is required to maintain all current ISO Certifications as well as expand facility certification across the network. This role is a professional stream position, focusing on individual contribution and applying technical/discipline knowledge rather than managing people. It involves setting objectives, delivering on responsibilities, and potentially acting as a leading expert within a functional area, influencing long-term tactical decisions. A colleague at this level has in-depth knowledge and experience, routinely applies subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues, and handles most situations independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

Maintain all current ISO Certifications and expand facility certification across the network.
Develop, implement, and maintain a corporate-wide QMS including oversight of regional quality performance.
Support Operation Site management in ISO 9001 compliance (training, SOP creation, management review, internal and external audits, sharing best practices).
Be a resource for quality-related issues.
Maintain and improve Maersk Quality Management System (QMS).
Manage and oversee Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
Work with leaders to understand the impact and cost of poor quality, and the benefit of developing a culture of prevention.
Manage new and renewals of applicable regulatory certifications.
Apply audit skills, prepare for and run audits, and conduct conformity evaluations.
Act as a change agent to develop and implement a systematic approach to continuous and sustainable improvement.
Analyze 'as is' conditions with local sites' leadership teams regarding customer satisfaction, process standardization and execution, functional organization, wastes and inefficiencies.
Identify current process and/or gaps and propose solutions to improve outcomes.
Lead workshops and training meetings with sites teams regarding Risk Mitigation, CAPA, SOPs, training, and other QMS related subjects.
Act as a true ambassador for Operational Excellence and how to deliver better service to customers at a lower cost.
Build and maintain SharePoint sites for QMS.
Build automated workflows and data mesh.
Collaborate with Building Directors on Success Stories and Opportunities in Quality KPI Objectives, Star Board Balanced Scorecard.
