About The Position

Martin-Baker America's Quality Auditor ensures company processes - and the products and services that result - comply with AS9100 standards along with customer, regulatory, and internal Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. This role is responsible for planning, performing, and maintaining internal and supplier audits, supporting QMS documentation, and administering Quality Management System modules within SAP and ETQ. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with aerospace/defense quality systems, strong technical and analytical capability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

Requirements

  • Communicate professionally and effectively at all levels, with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Possess deep technical expertise in AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS auditing, continuous improvement, problem solving, and electronic QMS administration.
  • Are familiar with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, plating, and finishing.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in SAP and standard office software.
  • Show leadership through influence, work independently, manage projects effectively, and promote teamwork and accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing‑related field with six (6) years of aerospace/defense QMS experience; OR Ten (10) years of aerospace/defense Quality Management System development and administration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and perform internal audits in accordance with AS9100 and company QMS requirements.
  • Conduct on‑site and desktop supplier audits and maintain applicable supplier quality data.
  • Support development, administration, and troubleshooting of SAP and ETQ Quality Management System modules.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of QMS documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and flowcharts.
  • Develop and maintain inspection profiles for in‑house products.
  • Perform contract review activities related to quality requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all company policies, operating procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.
