Requirements

  • Ability to form a strong bond with all production team members.
  • Skill with resolving differences and adding value to the production team.
  • Humility to hear the production team’s arguments and gain their perspective.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and communicate digitally.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of successful quality inspection / exposure required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

  • To support the production team’s goal of manufacturing quality interior doors.
  • Conduct production line inspections to verify that required QA procedures and being followed.
  • Monitor the production inspection process for compliance with approved methods including audit of all QA Checklists
  • Inspecting finished interior doors using established direction found on standard operating procedures.
  • Update Area Coordinator, Quality Team Leader, Production Manager, General Manager and Team Members on any defect issues
  • Support Production Manager, Area Coordinators, and Team Members of each department on correcting non-conformances
  • Provide training, as needed, for certification of production team members.
  • Verify materials for specifications, listings and storage.
  • Check QA traveling documents for completeness and then sign at the completion of the production process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
