Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Auditor B Shift to our team. Reporting to the Quality Engineer, the Quality Auditor will audit processes and products (post-production) to ensure company requirements and specifications are met while supporting audit compliance, quality improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and quality reporting activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of inspection or related experience.
  • Understanding of basic inspection techniques with demonstrated functional knowledge of quality processes and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations including fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, rates, and interpretation of bar graphs.
  • Experience with electronic assembly processes including component identification, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, and point-to-point wiring.
  • Experience using inspection equipment and techniques including microscopes, measuring tools, and inspection of boards, components, and cable/harness assemblies.
  • Proficiency with data entry, spreadsheet applications, software tools, and mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, write reports and procedures, and effectively communicate with customers, regulatory agencies, and teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise judgment, influence multiple functional areas, and provide guidance or training to other employees.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits in accordance with regulatory, industry, internal quality, and ISO requirements.
  • Perform process audits and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely closure of open actions.
  • Support root cause analysis activities and track corrective actions through resolution.
  • Monitor quality metrics, ensure accurate data collection, and maintain audit records and documentation.
  • Prepare reject reports and analyze defects, rejects, and process errors to identify trends and areas of concern.
  • Provide immediate feedback to production teams regarding process deviations and quality issues.
  • Initiate and support product and process improvement efforts across operations.
  • Facilitate Quality Alert meetings and provide process training as needed.
