About The Position

The Quality Auditor is responsible for supporting the Quality System, including auditing of in-process product per instructions, as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving and Dock and Seatback areas auditing as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and / or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards, inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage.
  • Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence, and to present information effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to do simple math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to add positive and negative numbers.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (ex: Excel, Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Relative experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving inspection and dock auditing as needed.
  • Perform in-process inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirements.
  • Maintain variable charts per blueprint and / or customer requirements.
  • Monitor data received by subcontractors for compliance to specifications as needed.
  • Assist in sort operations as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, etc.).
  • Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.
  • Perform dock auditing as needed.
