About The Position

The Quality Auditor performs audits of basic records and reports and inspects routine processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, international standards, and corporate policies and procedures. The role performs and documents quality checks, supports sorting and production activities, monitors measuring tools and fixtures, and communicates with other auditors and teams. The position requires following safety rules and the company Quality Policy, as well as practicing 5S.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform repetitive bending.
Willingness and ability to work overtime and adapt to potential shift changes.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, or willingness to learn.
Ability to use measuring tools and check fixtures, or willingness to learn.
Ability to support problem-solving efforts.
Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, including quality enhancements.
Self-motivated and dependable.

Responsibilities

Perform and document quality checks for new lots, part changeovers, destructs, rewelds, and straight walls.
Perform receiving inspections as required.
Perform macros (cut and etch) as required.
Follow the Non-conformance Procedure and Tool Break Procedure when needed.
Monitor the condition of measuring tools and check fixtures, and report damage or concerns to the Calibration Technician.
Lead sorting activity internally and at the customer, as needed.
Perform additional or extra tasks to the best of one's ability.
Assist production, management, and maintenance when required.
Communicate promptly and effectively by email, in person, radio, or other required methods.
Work closely with other auditors, including providing training assistance and communicating between shifts.
Understand and follow the company Quality Policy and safety rules, and practice 5S.
