About The Position

The Quality Audit Analyst will be a subject matter expert within the assigned department, ensuring that Symetra standards and procedures are strictly followed. This role is an outstanding chance to identify learning opportunities, provide timely quality feedback, and resolve issues while setting expectations regarding process, service, and performance guarantees.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience
2-4 years of cumulative, relevant experience
Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload
Internet Type: Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment with our company.

Responsibilities

Quality analysis of the claims process for accuracy with liability and financial decisions
Quality analysis of the claims process for appropriate use of internal and external risk resources
Quality analysis of the claims process for timely and accurate processing
Quality analysis of the claims process for adherence to legal and operational compliance requirements
Communication of results to individuals and management
Supplemental Health Product Knowledge
Assess skill gaps and make recommendations for solutions
Collaborate with peers and organizational partners to ensure consensus and consistency
Provide support and mentor individuals as needed
Participate in ad hoc audits, projects, and initiatives as assigned
