About The Position

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is a family-owned independent Coca-Cola bottler that is the third largest privately-held and the sixth largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. Coke Florida is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician based out of our Orlando location, working 9:00PM until 5:30AM, Monday-Friday with weekend availability required as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year prior production/manufacturing experience OR 2+ years relevant lab technician experience
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical skills
Ability to read, write, and keep records
Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word
Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in science related field preferred
Food/beverage industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

Conducting qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods
Analyze syrup beverage and/or water attributes
Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations
Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards
Receive and test CO2 and all raw materials prior to production process
Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination
