About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team, working the Swing Shift from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM. The ideal candidate will have experience with measuring parts using measurement equipment and possess a strong understanding of quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Must have experience with measuring parts with measurement equipment
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
• 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment in a QA role
• 2-3 years of experience in Blueprint reading
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Motivated, organized, and has attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in a technical discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers to complete validation and PPAP tasks including First Article Inspection (FAI), performance or functional testing, and report writing.
• Perform dimensional layouts using hand-measurement tools and CMM.
• Conduct print reviews for new or revised products (Blueprint Reading).
• Tabulate sample data utilizing statistical programs.
• Assist in compiling technical reports and summaries using Microsoft Word or Excel.
• Create and update process flow diagrams, process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), and control plans for new or revised products.
• Collect and analyze product data as directed by Quality Manager or Engineers.
• Support corrective action activities as needed.
• Provide back-up support for Receiving and Final Inspection when required.
