About The Position

At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always. This role will monitor product and procedures to assure company, customer and government specifications are met or surpassed and make corrective action. It involves monitoring compliance with HACCP programs, communicating with customers, management and sales on quality issues, and establishing and maintaining working relationships with production supervision and USDA personnel. The position also includes training and supervising QA Technicians on their respective shift and ensuring the safety and motivation for all team members.

Requirements

• Two years experience in a poultry processing environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good follow-up and employee relations skills.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Verification of employment eligibility must be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work.

Nice To Haves

• QA, HACCP and Food Safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities
