About The Position

Reporting to the Quality Team Leader, you will support food safety and quality during weekend operations, working either a four‑day or five‑day work week based on candidate preference and business needs. You will evaluate finished product, monitor Critical Control Points, and verify that production and sanitation processes are followed to ensure product is safe, compliant, and ready for release.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Effective communication skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform finished product evaluations to confirm products meet quality, safety, and specification requirements.
Monitor and document Critical Control Points to verify product is cooked and processed properly.
Verify operators are completing required tasks correctly and following established procedures.
Conduct environmental and equipment swabbing to support sanitation and food safety programs.
Administer the rejection and hold program by placing product on hold when issues are identified and escalating concerns appropriately.
Verify production lines are clean and ready prior to start‑up and following sanitation activities.
Document findings, deviations, and corrective actions using required systems and logs.
Partner with production, sanitation, and leadership teams to support compliance and continuous improvement during weekend shifts.
