About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in assembling, calibrating, testing, and evaluating Radiant products while also supporting Quality Assurance functions such as RMA oversight, diagnostics, and process improvement. This role combines hands-on product work with analytical QA responsibilities, providing a unique opportunity to contribute across the full product lifecycle. Success in this position requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is 100% on site and requires daily presence at WHQ to support production, diagnostics, and lab-based activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; A.S. in Electronics or technical certification preferred.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in manufacturing, cleanroom assembly, electromechanical systems, or QA diagnostics.
  • Basic understanding of electronics, schematics, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down complex issues into actionable pieces.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO requirements, CRM systems, and internal test software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect returned units, diagnose issues, and prepare instructions for repair, maintenance, or recalibration.
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and calibration of returned products.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment, instruments, and cleanroom workspaces per established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production records, workflow documentation, and quality logs.
  • Follow all safety, quality, ESD control, and cleanroom gowning/material handling protocols.
  • Participate in or lead team meetings to provide updates and close action items.
  • Support field action documentation and cross-functional coordination as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Technical Support, Production, and Purchasing.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to production, diagnostic, and QA processes.
  • Contribute to cross-functional training, workflow improvements, and system implementations.
