This position is a part of the operations team and is considered a support department for production. The Quality Assurance Technician I (2nd Shift) will coordinate testing, including sensory analysis, and the release of both incoming and manufactured products. This role will handle non-conforming product, including rework corrections, and report any deviations or issues needing follow up to quality leadership. The technician will also handle all customer service requests including certificates of analysis (COAs) and interact with customers. Maintaining the cleanliness of the lab and performing additional tasks as required are also key responsibilities. The role requires a flexible work schedule with the ability to work both 1st and 2nd shifts and weekends as needed.
