About The Position

HP Hood is seeking a self-driven Quality Assurance Supplier- Quality Holds Coordinator to join their team. This role is crucial for managing supplier-related quality issues within the facility. Requirements

• BS/BA in related science
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience required
• Experience in a food manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, dairy standards and CIP sanitation.
• Strong Computer Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work well with people.
• Communication skills are a must.
• Multi-tasked Individual.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for suppliers and supplier related issues in the facility
• Site coordinator of defective packaging material database
• Working with Packaging team to determine the root cause of supplier packaging problems
• Pursuance of timely compliance with packaging suppliers to ensure response of SCAR’s
• Reporting out on supplier quality metrics
• Sampling of incoming materials/ingredients to assure compliance with company standards
• Verification of product labelling against standards and sample retention.
• Monitoring of system to assure label accuracy and conversions as needed.
• Review of incoming material COA, COC docs to company standards
• Support QA Management with product HOLD sampling and reporting to site management
