Requirements

  • Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply) and write legibly.
  • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day).
  • Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to use proper techniques to lift 50 pounds.
  • The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important.
  • Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements.
  • Must be able to shift priorities easily.
  • Must be able to use hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college work preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and maintaining the quantity and quality of goods and packages through visual inspection.
  • Processing returns by communicating with customer.
  • Assisting with special projects such as internal audits, employee training and other ISO tasks.
  • Investigating customer complaints and requests for Corrective Action/Preventative Action Reports.
  • Working to reduce recurrence and eliminate root causes for error.
  • Working to improve processes and procedures.
  • Writing JBS (Job Breakdown Sheets) and/or validating JBS as needed.
  • Writing procedures or work instructions as assigned.
  • Performing other tasks related to quality assurance as assigned.
  • Enforcing the Q/S CARE Program.
  • Monitoring safety compliance on warehouse floor and working with operations on corrective actions.
  • Performing internal audits in the facility including Monthly warehouse audits (week1 to week4); 6S inspections, Blitz Audits, Fire watch checklist and Infection control audits.
  • Following up on corrective actions.
  • Facilitating weekly, monthly, annual training classes.
  • Conducting JBS Process Confirmation Checks (PCCs) on employees across all areas in the account.
  • Conducting New Hire Orientation Trainings and PIT Trainings.
  • Conducting ongoing employee trainings based on JBS in all areas in the account.
  • Maintaining all training trackers and documents.
  • Issuing all labels for CCA/LATAM as per current version customer specifications.
  • Documenting and investigating over, short, or damage issues.
  • Communicating with customer and resolving issues.
  • Verifying and placarding outgoing orders in the dock area.
