Requirements

  • Bachelor’s level degree in Human Services or related field of study from an accredited college.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience supporting Quality Assurance and conducting quality improvement projects.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience with Head Start or similar programs.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, required.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Work well under pressure and adaptable to change.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to take initiative, handle repetitive tasks, have follow-through and follow instructions where applicable.
  • Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage.
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking of data collection and performance measures to assess performance and report to funders.
  • Perform audits, monitoring reviews, and other quality assurance activities, including leading annual program audits of Early Head Start (EHS) providers and other Domestic Programs, coordinating monitoring activities, communicating audit schedules, and providing post-audit follow-up support.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports and findings of quality assurance monitoring, including standard visit or desk audit report, corrective action plans, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide policy interpretation, CQI guidance, technical assistance, and quality assurance support to Domestic Program Services staff, with specialized support for Early Head Start providers and program teams.
  • Conduct meetings with program staff and service providers, as needed, to assess progress toward compliance, review compliance and performance data, and support resolution of identified findings and improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as a primary contact for EHS performance standards to support compliance with program requirements.
  • Identify data collection gaps or data integrity issues and communicate findings to EHS team members, when applicable.
  • Use various information management systems and assessment tools to meet essential functions of position.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives to strengthen program compliance outcomes across Domestic Program Services.
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Attend and actively participate in events, training, staff meetings, etc., as required.
  • Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks.
  • Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department.
  • May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
