Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline required; experience in construction, industrial, or multi-discipline engineering environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated process mindset with the ability to map, analyze, and improve workflows — comfortable translating complex operations into structured, repeatable, and measurable systems.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented professional who actively contributes to a healthy, respectful, and collaborative work culture where people feel empowered to raise concerns and improve their environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work in both office and active field/construction environments; must be comfortable with regular site visits, physical inspections, and variable working conditions.
  • Unwavering personal commitment to working safely — and equally committed to holding others accountable to the same standard; actively intervenes when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven work ethic with the flexibility and commitment to dedicate the time necessary to meet organizational goals and deliver on the expectations of a high-performance team.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a safety-first culture across all functions — field, office, and project environments — identifying hazards, driving corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Develop digital safety & construction process digital content supporting the EHS department to augment the safety training program.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems and documentation aligned with ISO 9001 standards to support a process-oriented, audit-ready organization.
  • Own and continuously develop the value stream map for the entire AUC organization — documenting current-state processes, identifying waste and bottlenecks, and driving future-state design across all business units.
  • Evaluate and improve processes across the full value stream — from sales and engineering through design, project management, and construction — to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) to drive measurable, sustainable performance gains.
  • Conduct regular field inspections, process audits, and quality reviews to verify adherence to established standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, document, and standardize operating procedures, work instructions, and quality plans that reflect best practices across all business units.
  • Investigate non-conformances, incidents, and near-misses — performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with urgency and rigor.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, professional quality and safety reports to upper management and private equity ownership, providing clear KPIs, trend analysis, and actionable insights.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to design and implement streamlined reporting solutions — establishing a single source of truth for organizational data, enabling accurate and efficient on-demand reporting across all levels of the business; requires active coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to secure data access, ensure integrity, and align reporting standards organization-wide.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, sales, and construction teams to embed quality and safety thinking at every stage of a project's lifecycle.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on quality and safety performance metrics to track progress toward organizational goals and support data-driven decision making.
  • Support the organization's progression toward ISO 9001 certification by identifying gaps, owning corrective actions, and maintaining a culture of continuous quality improvement.
